How do we price our tickets?
ABBAtalk does not charge membership fees, so all of our costs (such as website hosting, film equipment and graphic design software) are covered by the tickets we sell to our unofficial ABBA fan events. Ticket sales also cover the the cost of venue hire, stage materials and time involved in planning the event itself (which can include meetings in the UK and in Sweden). PayPal charges us for each transaction and all of these factors contribute to the final ticket price.
The event takes place at 2 Bridge Avenue, Hammersmith, W6 9JP
(venue 'A' on the map below). Doors open at 15:30 and close at 15:55. All guests will be given an entry wristband and seats are unreserved. The event begins at 16:00 and finishes at approximately 20:00 (including an interval). You are then invited to join us at a nearby pub, just a 5 minute walk away: The Hop Poles, 17-19 King Street, Hammersmith, W6 9HR (venue 'B' on the map below). As you enter the pub, turn left and take the stairs to our private function room. Please wear your entry wristband at all times.
There are two London Underground stations named Hammersmith and both of these are only a 7 minute walk from Bridge Avenue. The nearest 24 hour carpark is at the Kings Mall and the nearest hotel is the Holiday Inn Express. [View in Google Maps]
